Angela Ryer is a self taught artist/painter who has always had a love of Halloween and all things dark and spooky. At the age of five, her favorite possessions in the world were her original Aurora Models of 'The Phantom of the Opera' and 'The Forgotten Prison of Castle Mare'. Both were lost in moves over the years but recently discovered on eBay! Despite being terrifying at night, for a five year old they were the COOLEST things she had ever laid eyes on!
Over time, life got in the way and her art moved away from these dark beginings until the fortunate discovery of Midnight Syndicate put her back in touch with her *Spooky Inner Child*. To this day they remain a major inspiration for her work.
Since 2003 Angela has been producing dark Halloween natured artwork. In 2004, she turned her talents towards sculpting and mold making and began making her own line of Halloween X-mas Ornaments. Late in 2005 Angela got an idea for a particular style of painting. In natural light one image is visible, but under a Black Light you see another reality. She continues to experiment to this day.
